On Team Xbox, we aspire to empower the world’s 3 billion gamers to “play the games they want, with the people they want, anywhere they want”. Gaming, the largest and fastest growing category in media & entertainment, represents an important growth opportunity for Microsoft. We are leading with innovation, as highlighted by our launches of Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Game Pass, and xCloud, and our acquisition of ZeniMax Media (Bethesda).
Part of the Gaming Ecosystem Organization at Xbox, The ID@Xbox team focuses on enabling independent developers of all sizes to digitally publish their games on Xbox consoles, and on PC with Xbox Live. We’re incredibly proud of the more than 2000 games independent developers have published on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S via the ID@Xbox program, and we’re excited to continue to work on behalf of those devs to make shipping games on Xbox as easy as possible, as well as to use our resources to help inform and empower devs, and to amplify the promotion these publishers do for their games.
The ID@Xbox Creative Partner Program Lead will meet and form partnerships with both existing partners and new potential partners, with a focus on under-served and under-represented voices in games, in order to help bring these partners to our platforms and maximize their success on our platforms. We’re looking for an empathetic and self-motivated individual who loves videogames, has a passion for the independent development space and loves helping partners succeed and bringing new voices to our platforms
