CreditCore Tribe

In 2019, the CreditCore programme was set-up to ensure that structural (regulatory) improvements can be designed, developed and implemented in a compliant, consistent and effective way contributing to a continuously improved end-to-end credit process. CreditCore redefines the way loans are classified, managed, reported and handled. We will create a new objective and more forward looking framework that can dynamically measure the credit quality of our customers. This will ensure that customers are served at the right time and in the right way. And we will be able to measure signals from its portfolio’s accurately and consistently and adequately act upon them.

Win factors in this programme are the introduction of multi-functional teams and the strong collaboration with all business units throughout the group. The positive results of the introduced way of working in Program CreditCore and the introduction of ERM as department, addressed the importance to structurally embed the way-of-working in ERM. As a next step as per November 1st 2020, we want to support the Rabobank wide ambition by introducing the principles of Simplfy@Scale within CreditCore as the new way of working and hereby strengthening our Risk function while at the same time consolidating the responsibility for credit policies within Enterprise Risk.

Credit Policy Chapter

We support the CreditCore Tribe and its Areas to manage the Voice of the Regulator by translating applicable legislation and regulations into compliant Global Standards and Global Procedures.

  • ​We support the Tribe, Areas and Squads in translating applicable legislation and regulations.​
  • We create value by updating credit risk policies with the business in the Squads. ​
  • We ensure our knowledge on credit regulations through early adoption of relevant CRR/CRD articles, EBA’s Technical Standards and Guidelines, and through our presence in relevant working groups of NVB, EACB, EBF and AFME. ​

Making a difference by

  • Being an expertise center for regulations on credit risk.​
  • ​Delivering expert consultancy in the Tribe, Areas and squads when advanced knowledge on credit risk regulation is required.​
  • ​Setting our work standards & work methodologies on translating applicable legislation and regulations.​
  • ​Contributing to the alignment of credit RAS limits to strategy and strategic risks.​
  • ​Maintaining our knowledge via applicable working groups of NVB, EACB, EBF and AFME, while lobbying for proportionality and practicality.​

Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. Our credit Policy Chapter brings talented people together to realize a sustainable and balanced credit portfolio for Rabobank Group. With you as a Senior Risk Manager Credit Policy, the chapter will consist of 10 diverse colleagues.

With you
Customer focus, collaboration, influencing, deliver results, problem solving and external orientation are clearly essential for the role of Senior Risk Manager - Credit Policy. In addition, it's important that you recognise everything in the checklist below:

  • minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in credit risk modelling or validation;
  • master’s degree/level;
  • good knowledge of- and interest in regulatory requirements;
  • you are recognised and acknowledged both internally and externally as an expert in the professional discipline;
  • you can create wide support for new policy initiatives. Professional innovations is of the utmost importance, as is dealing with internal and external political powers and opposing interests;
  • quality orientated person with high sense of accuracy and respect for timelines;
  • excellent communication in Dutch and English, both orally and in writing is a must.
