The OneDrive and SharePoint team is looking for a motivated and strong Principal Software Engineering Manager to be a part of this journey.Responsibilities
We are looking for an Engineering Manager who is passionate about building a great team and who puts people and culture at the forefront, someone who is not afraid to dig into hard engineering problems to improve the core fundamentals of our systems, add critical and exciting new features, revolutionize how our engineers work day-to-day, and try new things like bringing the power of machine learning and statistical analysis at scale to solve these and other problems. You will have an opportunity to work with peers across the company in Office, Azure, Microsoft365, and Research. You will guide a team of engineers, mentoring them through this journey and providing technical and architectural leadership as we evolve our scalable, distributed service.
This specific position will manage the media processing services within the OneDrive and SharePoint system. The leader in this space willwork with key engineers todefine architecturaldirection for the services and create multi-stage plans to get there. As this system is utilized by many clients and partner services, excellent cross-team collaboration skills are essential to the role.Qualifications
