We are part of the new Azure for Operators team, which includes teams and products from recent acquisitions Affirmed Networks and Metaswitch, and from Azure. As well as driving products, we are chartered with owning many of the tools and systems which support the business, and with improving business outcomes both short and long term by integrating and aligning these tools and systems, and the organisations that support them, where it makes sense to do so.
We are looking for a strong Program and Product Manager to manage products and to lead a team new to Microsoft, to help define their target operating model, and to manage the required change to get there. We are looking for someone who is pro-active, cares deeply about customer experiences, and has great cross group collaboration and communication skills.
As part of a cross-location PM organisation, this position is based in Seattle USA or in Enfield, UK.Responsibilities
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Leadership skills and empathy to lead a 30+ person team through a period of significant change
- Track record and strong results designing and / or leading product and business change management programs
- Ability to think both strategically and tactically and strike the right balance
- Experience in driving cross-functional partnership/collaboration that resulted in win-win solutions
- The commitment to drive to the best long term solutions for the organisation and our customersQualifications
- 3+ years of Management experience
- 3+ years of Program/Product Management experience
Previous experience as a Microsoft PM preferred, to assist in training the team on common Microsoft PM practices
