The SPACE HUB Location Services team is responsible for the backend services that contribute to these experiences.
The Location Services team is looking for a passionate cloud services software engineer to drive efforts around modernizing our services, measuring, and improving the accuracy of geolocation results, and expanding our services' capabilities. Our team operates in a combined engineering model, embraces continuous development, and services excellence. We are looking for a cloud services engineer who has data driven mindset and demonstrates customer empathy while designing robust engineering solutions. You will be joining very functional, collaborative, and motivated team, and will have the opportunity to work on scalable cloud services deployed on Azure. You will partner closely with our business and program management team delivering innovative solutions. You will have a passion for quality and be a creative thinker.
As part of the team, you will have responsibilities to maintain and improve our services in production through proactive monitoring, reacting to customer issues, performing investigations, implementing mitigations and deployments to guarantee that we operate a healthy system. You will also be responsible for evaluating system topology and capacity to ensure that services are able to handle user demand.
The breadth of our work provides opportunities to work with C#, Azure, and other services infrastructures. Our ideal candidate is someone who has proven to be a team player and is looking to expand their scope of influence and impact. This candidate is an engineer who has a passion for writing high quality code in a mission critical environment as well as guiding the direction of the team.
