Software Engineer 2

  • You will drive product growth and help us deliver on our DAU goals
  • You will analyze data, explore creative approaches and propose new solutions to bring new users to the product, increase their retention and engagement
  • You will brainstorm new applications of our tech and platforms, prototype proof of concepts and deliver high quality solutions to the users
  • You will help us evolve our Microsoft Rewards program into a best-in-class, industry leading Loyalty program
  • You will drive architecture, design and coding best practice for our systems and (re)designs of the platform around new capabilities & greater scale
  • You will be collaborating closely with UX designers, PMs, other engineers and partners to build features that bring value to our users


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of C#/C/C++ and JavaScript/TypeScript
  • 5+ years software engineering experience
  • Strong problem solving, design and architecture skills
  • Experience shipping features to end users

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with frontend & web development
  • Experience with CSS/HTML, JS, frameworks like React & AngularJS
  • Experience working on a product with high traffic & many users; live site mentality
  • Experience running experiments and analyzing data & metrics
  • Experience in driving product growth
