As a Software Test Developer, you’ll be responsible for supporting the development team with your test expertise and test automation knowledge to guard the (software) quality and support our relentless pursuit for customer quality. You will create test designs, implement them and make sure that they run automatically. You have a quality and test mindset and you can deliver high quality work under strict deadlines in an innovative environment.

This position opens a great opportunity for those who wish to contribute to development and further growth of the largest IoT ecosystem in the world:
You'll join the team responsible for the setup and configuration of home automation and the accessories of the Hue system.
You'll design and implement test strategies for the current and new features and guide team members in performing the test activities.
You'll perform initial investigation of problems found in the software, set up monitors, create alerts, and use field data to determine and safeguard the software quality.
You'll explore and introduce improvements to testing, test automation and development processes.
We are looking for a Software Test Developer with a passion for home automation. Candidates should have the following skills or characteristics:
You have a degree in computer science, mathematics or relevant work experience in object oriented software development.
You have at least 3 years of experience in software development, test automation, test processes and test strategies.
You have experience with Linux as a development platform, but can easily adapt to other environments and platforms.
You have knowledge and experience in the areas of devops and data-driven product development.
You have excellent communications skills and great command of English both written and verbal.
Experience with BDD and TDD is a plus.
ISTQB or other formal structured test training is a plus.
