Your day-to-day activities
What all our customers have in common is that they need to modernize and streamline their customer services, product management, Compliance and Risk Management operations to keep up with what consumers and regulators expect and ensure their long term viability. You will work on assignments that help you develop further in line with your own skills and ambitions. The assignments take place at customer locations in the Randstad, with a focus on the Amsterdam region.
As a Senior Process Change Consultant you work with a high degree of independence and autonomy. You are an experienced process management & change consulting professional and as a member of a team of +/- 15 colleagues you make the difference in assignments for your client. The current team has a primary focus on digitalization of end-to-end customer processes and regulatory implementations across all business and IT disciplines. Examples of the most common assignments with our customers are:
• Define the functional and technical requirements and work on the implementation of
BPMS-based solutions to deliver a step-change in operational efficiency
across business critical Banking processes, eliminate bottlenecks and
• Implement and leverage workflow management solutions to drive better allocation of
customer service, customer due diligence and other core banking tasks
across complex, multifunctional organizations;
• Deploy workflow management and RPA solutions to automate client outreach processes
and ensure compliance in respect of KYC regulatory and internal
• Leverage process and task mining to provide deep new insights into process bottlenecks
and identify quick wins and longer term optimization opportunities;
• Advising on the implementation of solutions to meet existing and new regulatory
requirements and internal policies e.g. strengthening data quality and
governance, streamlining credit risk authorization;
• Working in an Agile environment with mixed teams of CGI and client resources incl.
business consultants, software engineers, data architects and business
• Design training programs and training materials and deliver training and education in the
context of new Risk Management policies, procedures and / or tooling.

In addition, you will work closely with your colleagues and the Director Consulting Services - Banking, to whom you report, to ensure that you and the team continuously develop and maintain the highest level of expertise in operationalizing business process management and RPA solutions in customer service, product and risk management and compliance processes. What you need to be successful in this role
You are a Senior Process Change Consultant with deep Banking sector experience. You have worked with business owners and Agile / DevOps teams leveraging industry leading technology solutions to drive further automation and efficiency in complex, end-to-end customer service, product, risk & regulatory processes – e.g. new client onboarding, loan application & authorization, ongoing customer due diligence, handling of customer enquiries & complaints, case management, collecting and managing risk & regulatory compliance data, and data-driven omnichannel customer journeys. You have extensive experience with implementing process orchestration and workflow management solutions across functional borders within complex banking environments. You have worked with one or more leading Business Process Management Suites commonly used within the Banking sector and you have experience with leveraging low code Robotic Process Automation tools into rapid development of end user applications. You have Lean Six Sigma certification. Experience with process & task mining would be an advantage.
You have used Cloud native tools and worked with software engineers, data scientists and business experts across several key processes of the banking sector – e.g. Credit Risk, Transaction Monitoring, Ongoing Customer Due Diligence, Fraud Prevention, Customer Service, ALM & Finance. You are capable of translating complex business needs into end-to-end business processes and communicate these clearly to different audiences incl. management and developers. You are passionate about utilizing the latest technology in cloud computing, BPMS & RPA software to deliver tangible change. You are familiar with the application of low code software tools in different domains of the Banking sector. Further you have:
• Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant discipline;
• Lean Six Sigma certification;
• Demonstrable training & experience in relevant / leading BPMS and / or RPA and / or
Process Mining software solutions e.g. software vendor certification;
• Fluent in English; Dutch is optional;
• At least 5 years of work experience as an external consultant or in an internal advisory /
line management role at a financial institution.
