S&OP Manager

Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to

S&OP Manager is the ‘owner’ of the Business Group Grooming and Beauty S&OP process for their respective scope. Purpose of this process is:

  • On a monthly basis align relevant Sales & Marketing and Supply Chain developments (forecast, phase in/out, market actions) with key decision moments (cost, pricing, introductions, capacity, etc.) to respond to demand and supply variations and risks.

  • The review of relevant deviations and developments in the business, short term as well as long term, resulting in financial or operational adaptations to the plan.

  • Prepare right level of information along the S&OP process to enable for appropriate decision making by Senior Management

  • Execute the decisions taken and report back status

You are responsible for

The S&OP Manager leads the integrated S&OP process related to:

  • Mid & Long term Demand planning process

  • Mid & Long term Capacity planning process

  • New Product Introductions (Phase in and Phase out planning process)

  • E2E Cost, Service and Inventory levels for the respective scope

  • E2E Category S&OP process

  • Various improvement projects along the E2E Value Chain

You are a part of

We are looking for a S&OP Manager to join our dynamic Supply Chain team for Beauty, based in the Headquarter in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The Supply Chain team is part of wider Order to Fulfillment team and includes next to S&OP also the Product Industrialization function. You will be responsible for a part of the exciting products in our Business portfolio and will be closely interacting with Product Management, Business Development, Finance, Innovation, Quality, Procurement and factories/suppliers to serve our customers worldwide at lowest costs while meeting required service levels. The position includes cross-functional interactions, decision-making and exposure to Senior Management in the Business. You will be directly reporting to the S&OP Lead for Grooming and Beauty.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Minimal Bachelor’s degree

  • >2 years business experience in demand /supply management or SCM operations, preferably in consumer goods industry.

  • Able to operate in dynamic environment with high interaction levels

  • Strong communication skills in international matrix setting, fluent in English

  • Persuasive, analytical, hands on mentality, stress resistant

  • Adaptability to talk/manage different levels of audiences.

  • Microsoft Office and preferably SAP/JDA/Power BI/Qlik Sense knowledge
