Data Designer Image Guided Therapy

Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Bring the Data Design competence to the next level by leveraging data as design material in the creative process and impact people’s lives through meaningful data enabled propositions. You will specifically focus on the healthcare domain and work closely with our Image Guided Therapy business. This role can be for a computer or data scientist with clear experience in a creative, design environment, able to provide portfolio proving affinity with the design field. On the other hand, this role can be for a UX designer with clear affinity with data, who is able to work hands on with data and program oneself. Preferably, the candidate has experience developing strong design concepts, or worked in a team to deliver on this.

You are responsible for

  • Building differentiating propositions encompassing data that are relevant to our end users in the healthcare domain

  • Gather, structure, visualize to translate data into insights

  • Support other designers in embedding data into their design practice

  • Bridge the design capabilities with data science/AI capabilities

  • Building a tool-set and repeatable way of working for data enabled design

You are a part of

The Data Enabled Design team, a group of data designers with expertise on data visualization, user experience research and prototyping with/around data and AI. The Data Enabled Design team is part of global 400+ design community and working on both business and research driven projects.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • University degree (WO/HBO) in Design or Computer Science (or related)

  • Experience in creating strong design concepts

  • Hands on programming skills (Data Visualization Libraries (e.g. D3), Reactive Java Script Frameworks (e.g. React), NodeJS, or equivalent)

  • Knowledge and experience in the field of Artificial Intelligence is a plus

  • Independently act in both innovation projects as business projects

  • Willingness to deep dive into the clinical area

  • English verbal and writing
