Senior Data Platform Engineer at WB Data Management
Wholesale Banking Data Lake is on the verge of transitioning from a traditional data warehousing landscape to a big data platform that processes millions of files containing TBs of data with all the necessary (security) controls, monitoring and automation in place that make the solution scalable and in line with banking minimum standards. Within our environment key critical processes run on a daily basis that support strategic ING bank wide initiatives which are used across the world.
To develop this release, we are looking for a Senior Data Platform Engineer to join our team of experts. The new team member will be responsible for expanding, operating and optimizing our bigdata environment. The environment has both batch as stream ingestion support, enablement of security controls and supporting data governance.
You will be working in a team where you will learn, share your knowledge, have fun, together with top platform engineers. Be a part of making ING data driven.
Our ideal candidate is an experienced engineer managing large data environments based on the Hadoop ecosystem. The Platform Engineer will active support our software developers on data initiatives and will ensure optimal data delivery.
Experience in the Agile methodologies would be a perfect fit, able to slice and dice work/ideas in clear stories and tasks.
