Supply Chain Expert (m/f/d) Software Products & Solutions

Job Description

In this role you have the opportunity to

be in the front row seat to convert new business models to state-of-the-art software supply chain capabilities. Using your knowledge of the software licensing and delivery models, you support in the design of fit for purpose supply chain processes, in line with the desired customer experience.

It would be ideal, if you were located somewhere close to our site in Böblingen, Germany. BUT we are definitely also considering candidates globally.

Responsible for

  • (Embedded) software supply chain processes, representing the supply chain function in transformational initiatives.
  • Driving adoption of new software supply chain concepts in line with business strategy and requirements coming from new product introductions.
  • Support changes to existing software supply chain processes and systems, ensuring continuity when doing so.
  • Ensuring key performance indicators are actively monitored and corrective actions are taken to ensure performance.

You are part of

the Supply Chain team of Monitoring Analytics and will report into the Supply Chain Leader of MA&TC. As we value diversity, we have a multi-functional and diverse team, with different points of view, different ways of thinking to create the best End-to-End supply chain.

To succeed in this role you should have the following skills and experience

  • A bachelor or master’s degree in supply chain management or IT
  • At least 5+ years of implementing or managing software licensing and software distributions processes in a supply chain organization.
  • Strong and demonstrated Operational Excellence skills, change management skills, challenges status quo and makes recommendations for improvements to products and processes.
  • Knowledge of software (entitlement) licensing models, delivery, activation, rehosting, upgrading processes.
  • Experience in translating business models, product configurations and pricing models into corresponding licensing and delivery models.
  • Knowledge of software and license delivery models for e.g. electronic software distribution through portals, remote software distribution, connected products, provisioning cloud services (SaaS).
  • Experience in designing, documenting processes to support traceability and implementations.
  • Capable to communicate with various layers in the organization from shop floor to executive level.
  • Strategic skills/conceptual thinking. Able to see and develop the bigger picture.
