In this role, you have the opportunity to make the difference in Philips business transformation and continuous operations on data design and governance, by acting as the recognized expert for data models, value sets, compliance and standardization requirements and controls in the consumer area you are responsible for.

You will bring a strong data domain knowledge and expertise connecting with Business Process Experts to design and maintain scalable, consistent and simplified data models, and connecting with IT to deliver on its execution and with the business to ensure the standardization and compliance controls are observed.

Your work will contribute directly to securing End-to-End data integrity cross processes and IT landscape through adequate data and process standardization.

Your experience with AI/ML and predictive analytics helps us envision the evolution to unleash the power of data in the Digital domain for Philips.

You will be responsible for:

  • Designing and maintaining the Consumer information models for the IT systems in the Philips Integrated Landscape, including Meta data, master data and transactional data - including the regulatory and standardization controls, ensuring the data quality and end-to-end consistency in cooperation with other BIEs.
  • Validating information models with Business Process Owner/Experts (BPO/BPE) as part of the solution design, and with IT Business Analysts (IT BA) ensuring implementation as per design; documenting it using standard notations, templates and tools as defined within Information and Data Management (IDM)
  • Gathering information related requirements with Business Process Experts (BPE) including business process and regulatory requirements. Secure approvals and manages change control process on data models and consumer data management processes.
  • Actively supporting the business transformation in data migration preparation and execution, by means of defining and maintaining data migration rules, data quality rules/checks, define checklists to be performed before data loads and during data qualification process.
  • Supporting the definition of the consumer data domain roadmap including requirements, design and governance, implementation and deployment of the Consumer Data Hub (RCDH) solution and related processes.
  • Identifying and promoting continuous improvement opportunities to drive standardization design and adherence, including on data quality, by linking to business stakeholders, BPEs, GBS data services and projects as well as with the IT community.

The scope of the Platform Digital Customer Engagement consists of all IT activities related to the Digital Customer Engagement processes and capabilities. These activities are executed across Philips. Next to that the central User Experience capabilities are positioned in this platform. Under the global platform leader Digital Customer Engagement, the organization is delivering via 4 business facing tribes where the tribe leader is responsible for both the business engagement for the respective area as well as the DevSecOps cycle. The Platform Digital Customer Engagement holds the following tribes: Direct to Consumer (D2C), Direct to Business (D2B), Digital Platform (DP), Digital Services.

This role is part of the Tribe Digital Platform

The DP tribe will broadly align with the scope of the DP tribe within the Digital Marketing & eCommerce setup. As part of this Tribe, enterprise information management activities are delivered related to the entire Marketing & eCommerce organization such as Clik reporting, our consumer database as well as the setup of new data lakes for consumer and customer. The team will also provide analytical support to the business. The entire organization will operate in a full DevSecOps model.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Proven track record in expert roles driving (master) data management solutions (requirements definition and consulting, data modeling, data governance, implementation and roll out of data models).
  • Solid experience of business and operational experience in the digital and consumer space and knowledge of data and information generated and required for the digital and consumer related processes.
  • Experience in working together in distributed project and operational teams in e.g. Netherlands, US and India.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests and manage laterally as well as upwards.
  • Excellent analytical skills and enthusiasm for new challenges.
  • Ability to adapt communication style to people at all levels of the organization and and theability to translate business requirements into data requirements and process experts and IT business analysts.
  • Ability to be self-motivated and show initiative to take on tasks.
  • Demonstrate a passion for solving challenges by leveraging technology solutions.
  • Has a clear interest in understanding consumer behavior, and being passionate about health data is a plus

  • Has significant experience working in advanced analytics (AIML) projects

  • Is comfortable prioritizing work across multiple requests and stakeholders to ensure that they have the greatest impact to the business.

  • Loves to be self-motivated and diving into projects while always looking to innovate and deliver more impact

  • Experience in the Digital B2C sector.
  • Experience with SAP PowerDesigner, SQL and SQL Server Manager.
  • Experience in an Agile (Scrum) environment.
