Product Owner - Experience Platform

We are looking for a Product Owner Experience Platform to join our Digital Platforms team, focused on building and supporting the foundation and future of our Philips web experience platforms in a compliant and sustainable manner, to support our growing ambitions within our digital experience towards consumers and customers. The Product Owner drives the product vision of the experience platforms, delivery of product increments that add value to the D2C and D2B business that build their experience on top of the platforms. Important with the size of our digital presence is the focus on operational excellence to run, deliver and scale the opportunities.

You are responsible for

  • Being the Web Experience platform owner, driving sustainable, compliant and scalable processes and platforms across our Business & Markets
  • Translating business demand into tangible and sustainable solutions for the Experience platform backlog, in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Align with internal teams across our Philips organization to define an optimized end-2-end process
  • Drive the required activities from a Quality & Regulatory perspective to make sure our platforms are compliant
  • Follow-up on implementations, bring transparency towards business and markets via reporting and dashboards and measurement of impact
  • Investigate and resolve reported incidents and look for continuous improvements from an operational perspective in the end-2-end chain
  • Ownership and prioritization of the feature backlog, delivering new functionalities within the release cycles, based on business value and impact
  • Working with other Product Owners to drive the required improvements to support the right customer and consumer experiences

You are a part of

The Digital Platforms Experience & Conversion team, working to manage the technical platforms used by Philips globally to manage customer experience and commerce across channels and touchpoints. The team collaborates with all stakeholders at Philips who use our platforms, as well as with IT and partners.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor, Master degree or comparable practical experience
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of professional experience
  • Analysis, research, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong collaboration skills & communication competence
  • Experience within Web experience management/E-Commerce domain and digital technologies
  • Ability to advise clients and make most independent decisions
  • Able to flourish in a complex environment with multiple agile teams to liaise with
  • Experience in managing teams in an agile (marketing) environment preferred
  • Identify and manage continuous improvements and innovations
  • Act as a role model for our Philips behaviors and Competences (
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks across multiple projects
  • Ability to interpret and report on performance and make recommendations to business stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and non-technical ways, at various levels within a company
  • Fluency in Business English
