You will be part of the Legal Compliance program team, within the Philips Group Legal Compliance department. This internship will give you the opportunity to obtain work-experience in a professional and highly international environment, while becoming more familiar with the rules and regulations around Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption, Antitrust, Healthcare Compliance, Export Control & Sanctions and the efforts Philips is undertaking to continue to remain compliant in its activities. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team supporting the execution of a process to help Philips maintain its obligations under our due-diligence screening requirements.

You are responsible for
Your key responsibility will be to support the legal compliance program team with the coordination and documentation of the Philips Due Diligence screening process as well as support with various other initiatives such as the creation of awareness materials and participate in activities around our SpeakUp channels. You will participate in steering committee meetings to make sure you capture the views of our subject matter experts and will create and present proposals on how we can best codify our program governance for the future.
You are a part of
You will be an integral part of the Legal Compliance team, working closely with expert colleagues from the Data Privacy organization and teams within, amongst others, HR, IT and Enterprise Information Management.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Is currently studying towards a Bachelor or Master at a Dutch University;
Has a demonstrated interest in the legal compliance landscape
Has experience working in a team based project;
Is fluent in English (oral and written), other languages are a plus;
Possesses strong communicative skills and a pro-active attitude;
Possesses strong organizational skills and has an eye for detail;
Is able to work in a fast-paced environment;

Duration: 6 months;
Start date: As soon as possible, preferably June 2021;
You will be applicable for an internship remuneration and, where applicable, reimbursement of travel costs.
As we are beholden to COVID-restrictions, a part of your internship might involve working from home. We will however make sure to involve you in the day-to-day business of our organization as much as possible.
