you are able to contribute to Rabobank proactively protecting itself – worldwide –, as well as society against (facilitation of) money laundering and terrorism financing. As a CAMS Risk Officer, you make a difference by applying your in-depth knowledge of Money Laundering, Terrorism Financing, and Sanctions to support first line and local compliance partners in the completion of critical risk assessment activities.
Making a difference
As a CAMS Risk Officer you are part of a multidisciplinary team of professionals responsible for the design, maintenance and implementation of the central risk library and corresponding guidance.
You provide oversight to senior management on the extent and nature of the risks faced by the Rabobank Group, as well as on the health of controls in place, through the collection and processing of data into global Management Information and the production of associated periodical reporting.
You help with the effective management of financial economic crime (‘FEC’) risks (and other related risks) across the Rabobank Group by assisting in the production of different data-driven risk assessments of varied scope. These include wide-scope risk assessments such as e.g. systematic integrity risk assessment [‘SIRA’] or narrower risk assessments such as e.g. FEC-focussed staffing assessment and others.
Your responsibilities in support of the FEC SIRA process may include review of local system landscapes, involvement in review of data outliers and validation activities with local stakeholders. Additional responsibilities may include the review of risk conclusions and challenge of scores or risk responses, including any resulting action plans.
You will provide ongoing support in the review of risk definitions, exploration of local risk environments and may advise on the scoping of assessment units.
You will assist in the design of risk insight tooling and help to identify and establish guidance documentation to support the transparency and repeatability of the process.
Additional responsibilities may include activities to reinforce our data collection efforts by liaising with local or central system owners and the data lake to determine automation priorities.

Knowledge on key and emerging risks related to money laundering, terrorism financing, and sanction breaches, including applicable laws and regulations.
Self-starter, team player and change agent.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, both in English and in Dutch.
Growing a better world together
You already know that Rabobank is a financial services provider for more than 8.5 million customers in 40 countries. But did you know that we aim to contribute to real change with our 'Growing a better world together' mission? We do so in countless ways:
Thanks to an agreement with the UN World Food Programme, more agricultural products are purchased from small farmers in Rwanda, Tanzania and Zambia. We aim to expand this platform to include one and a half million farmers in 25 countries by 2030.
Together with the World Wildlife Fund, we're helping to create a harmonious balance between nature and the agricultural sector in Brazil.
An innovative fund was set up in Ireland to help dairy farmers become less dependent on income from milk sales.
