Bedrijf: Park Plaza Victoria Amsterdam.
Job role responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef;
  • Manage, train, coach and inspire employees in the kitchen;
  • Plan, develop and implement departmental goals in consultation with the Executive Chef;
  • With the Executive Chef you are responsible for creating an innovative and inspiring food and beverage (F&B) offer for our meeting guests;
  • Responsible for the breakfast quality set up and banqueting rooms;
  • Arranging weekly F&B planning for meetings and events;
  • Maintain desired culinary level of our restaurant concept as well as brand standards;
  • Safeguard HACCP standards.
 
We are looking for talent that:
  • Is a real food lover and loves to share passion for cooking with others;
  • Loves to interact with guests (life cooking);
  • Has work experience as a (Junior) Sous Chef in the kitchen department (preferably in the hospitality);
  • Has a good command of English (preferably also Dutch);
  • Is able to handle stressful situations;
  • Is able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays (flexibility).
