In this role, you have the opportunity to
Develop labor policies, oversee the management of industrial labor relations, negotiate collective bargaining agreements with the union, advise the human resources staff to ensure compliance with the contract, consult with executive management to get input into aspects of personnel policies, develop new or revised union contracts, compile information on statistics, and maintain records of wage and salary surveys or correspondence.
You are responsible for
In this role, you have the opportunity to lead the labor relations function in one of the most critical regions for Domestic Appliances through:
advising for employment conditions and responsible for the CAO texts, as well as reporting on Negotiation Delegation (OD) and trade union consultation, as well as communication from OD;
advising HRM in the field of employment law, taking into account Domestic Appliances policy, with specific points for attention: collective labor agreement, employee participation, transfer of undertaking, reorganizations, social plan, (collective) dismissal law, application and amendment of employment conditions, Personal Data Protection Act, Foreign Nationals Employment Act;
advising HRM on policy issues;
liaising with Legal and HR functions to coordinate employment conditions and dismissal policy Senior Director and Executives;
at the request of the Pension Affairs Advisor, supporting in the field of pension law;
identifying and communicating about new legislation and developments in employment law;
guiding legal procedures;
keeping the HR Toolkit up to date, including documents such as termination agreements;
being the contact person with external law firm regarding labor relations/labor lawHolla Advocaten, De Brauw and AKD.
You are a part of
You report to the North-Europe HR Lead. Your primary stakeholders are local / regional managers and employees; global, regional and local leadership teams. Your scope of work covers market BNL (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxemburg), market DACH (Austria, Germany, Switzerland), market Nordics (Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden), market UKI: United-Kingdom & Ireland.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Minimal university education in employment law
About 10 years of relevant work experience as a lawyer
Thorough knowledge of and experience with employment law in NL and preferably in Germany/Austria as well
Team player who can also operate independently
Communicative, practical and solution-oriented
