Senior Product Marketing Manager Mobile Surgery

We have a unique opportunity for a Product Marketing Manager to join Mobile surgery business, part of the highly successful Image Guided Therapy Systems. You will enter the multinational environment of the Business Group Image Guided Therapy at Philips Healthcare

Mobile surgery business (MoS) is part of Image Guided Therapy – Systems business unit that is responsible for the design and creation of image guided therapy solutions that are used in minimally invasive interventional and surgical procedures.

Aiming to drive ambitious growth of this business, Philips is seeking a Product Marketing Manager capable of driving winning propositions from idea to market by defining, launching and building profitable product solution platforms.

You are responsible for

As Product Marketing Manager you will drive the definition, development and introduction of winning propositions for the market of Image Guided Therapy Systems, enabling our customers to deliver the best possible patient care at optimal economical value while performing minimal invasive intervention and surgical procedures. By working in close alignment with customers, markets and internal stakeholders, you will strive to continuously improve our integral offerings.

  • Developing integral proposition based on market- and customer insights, including value proposition, supporting claims, pricing strategy, offer design, target customers and markets.
  • Steering the development and delivery of new propositions in cooperation with Key Opinion Leaders, target markets and internal stakeholders (esp. Executives, Marcom, Customer Service, Clinical Specialist, Regulatory Affairs and R&D)
  • Defining the launch strategy and drive the global execution in collaboration with the local markets.
  • P&L for Product and/or Solutions development of the business case to support new value creation
  • Managing strategic partnerships with third-party solution providers: key strategic customers/KOLs and as appropriate, complementary solution providers
  • Developing and maintaining five-year strategic vision for product roadmap (for internal stakeholders and customers)

You are a part of

You will be part of Mobile surgery business within IGT- Systems. The IGT Systems organization is responsible for global marketing, development and manufacturing of image guidance solutions. IGT Systems is the global market leader and at the heart of Philips Healthcare.

You will be joining a highly motivated team with team members located in Best and India, having extensive experience in developing and accelerating innovative solutions in the field of mobile surgery.

The team operates in an open and multi-cultural atmosphere and is characterized by a “entrepreneur” outlook of looking at opportunities.

This position is based in Best and you will report to the Marketing lead – Mobile surgery.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Master degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related fields with excellent academic track record
  • Experience in international business environment in marketing and business development
  • Experience in Personal Health, devices or surgery industry preferred
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with different stakeholders in the organization as well as with senior business partners and customers
  • Commercial savvy and persistent and agile in delivering results
  • Expertise in market segmentation, product and service strategy, competitive strategy, and product/service development
  • Strong conceptual skills; ability to translate market and customer feedback into Value Propositions
  • Ability to guide and drive the development of new solutions from the initial concept until the final product through validation of assumptions
  • Experience with various aspects of marketing -both strategic and tactical- to ensure successful launch and deployment of our proposition (s) in the market
  • A hands on, analytical and solution-orientated mind-set, with the ability to set goals and motivate a multi-disciplinary team
