Become part of Cardiology Informatics – a global business line within Enterprise Diagnostic Informatics that creates innovative Cardiovascular IT solutions for Cardiologists around the world. Cardiology is one of the four growth pillars of Philips and in order to accelerate our growth ambitions we are currently looking for a Clinical Marketing Manager.

As Clinical Marketing Manager you co-create, together with our customers and a multi-disciplinary team, compelling new informatics applications as part of our IntelliSpace Cardiovascular solution. These applications range from intelligent diagnosis or treatment planning applications, to applications that connect diagnosis, treatment, recovery and the home.

You are responsible for

Clinical Marketing Managers are a critical part of the product/solution team along with the Product Managers and other disciplines. Their goal is to ensure products/solutions meet and exceed desired clinical outcomes and human factors/user experience specifications. They are involved in all phases of product/solution development and product lifecycle management. Clinical Marketing Managers spend est. 25% of their time in the market with clinicians, supporting clinical validations, and high priority customer concerns. They spend the rest of their time representing the voice of the clinician in their business and driving clinically oriented innovations.

  • Identify clinical and healthcare economics benefits by designing and executing product validation; translate results of validations into a compelling value proposition (including product/solution claims) that resonates with the clinical end user
  • Provide ongoing and actionable feedback to the SCRUM team to continuously improve the design of the products/solutions
  • Train field marketing managers and clinical application specialists on the clinical value proposition of new products/solutions by demonstrating product during launch events and support clinical application specialists with initial deployments at customers
  • Represent voice of clinician by spending time in the market, gaining a deep understanding of end users’ clinical workflow and operational requirements
  • Drive clinically oriented innovations by defining specifications that meet the clinical workflow and operational requirements of clinicians
  • Represent voice of clinician at PH by spending time in market gaining a deep understanding of end users’ clinical workflow and operational requirements

You are part of

The Enterprise Diagnostic Informatics business, part of the Precision Diagnosis business group in Philips, is a global leader in a/o enterprise PACS, advanced visualization and cardiology informatics solutions. We are serving over 5000 cardiology informatics customers worldwide.

Cardiology Informatics consists of over 150 employees dispersed globally. The team is based across several locations in the Netherlands, North America and Brazil. You will be based in our office in the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven that is fully designed for software development and Agile processes.

You will be working in our Product Management & Clinical Marketing team. We are a team of (senior) professionals that are passionate about improving people’s lives. The team is globally responsible for the Philips cardiology informatics portfolio and is working on a very frequent basis with our customers (e.g. interventional cardiologists, sonographers, nurses, CIO’s, IT administrators etc.) as well as other groups in Philips like the HealthSuite Digital Platform team, Research, Image Guide Therapy (IGT) and Ultrasound (US).

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • A nursing Degree or Medical Degree (or comparable), with specialization in cardiology
  • A minimum of 5 years of recent clinical work experience in cardiology, in a hospital or affiliated industry
  • Deep understanding and broad workflow knowledge of clinical specialties in cardiology and in particular Echo Cardio graphic diagnosis. Understanding of the ECG, nuclear, CT, MR workflow is beneficial.
  • Preferably knowledge on the Philips Product: IntelliSpace Cardiovascular or Xcelera.
  • Ability to work in an international, collaborative environment, both within Philips as well as with world-renowned cardiologists who expect high standards, high competence and understanding.
  • Understanding of scaled Agile/SCRUM methodologies is beneficial
  • Excellent customer centric skills and fluent in English
  • Common understanding of economical and operational aspects of healthcare
