Software Development Manager

DESCRIPTION

This software development management role is for a new team to build an innovative new paradigm-shifting product. Your role will be to help bring this new product to life as a founding member of this team. You have the opportunity to redefine what software development looks like.

In this role, you will build a team that designs, develops, tests, maintains and own systems that are integral parts of this new product. You will work closely with your colleagues on the team and together you will research, architect, experiment and deliver a production quality product. You will apply your expertise in the area of search infrastructure, and learn and grow with your team.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS


· Equivalent experience to a Bachelor's degree based on 3 years of work experience for every 1 year of education
· 8+ years of relevant engineering experience
· 5+ years people management experience at least 2 of them managing through other managers.
· Hires great people. Develops great people.
· Experience with frontend and backend service development
