Internship: Consumer Marketing - Espresso
Start: flexible between May - July 2021

In this role, you have the opportunity to
As an intern in the Espresso Consumer Marketing team, you will support the positioning, definition and potential introduction of products that bring ever-more rewarding and enjoyable experiences to consumers by meeting their needs. You will translate in-depth market-, consumer-, shopper insights, as well as competitive analyses into winning concepts by defining product positioning. You will drive consumer and shopper research to identify and optimize the winning concepts, to integrate these new concepts into strategic product roadmaps, and develop and bring the concept from idea to market.
You are responsible for
Support in Product Development projects, including analysis on consumer and market data
Competitor analysis to support key innovation projects
Creation of benchmarks to optimize go to market strategy and activation
Support the Marketing Team with (Internal & External) Event organization and Preparation
Supports in developing value propositions and detailed product specifications for new product introductions.
Supports product management by gathering specific information and preparation of product introduction material.
Gathering information w.r.t. product strategy, making SWOT analysis.
Develop presentation material.
Participates in the market introduction.
You are a part of
You will be part of the Espresso Consumer Marketing team, a dedicated group of Consumer Marketing Managers, within the Business Group Coffee, and part of the wider new Philips Domestic Appliances organisation.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Currently studying towards your Masters degree (preferred) in the following fields: Marketing, Communication, Management
Have strong communication and analytical skills
Ideally have some relevant internship experience
Fluent in English (knowledge of Italian, German, Chinese would be an additional benefit)
