As a junior maintenance worker you begin your day by checking the list with the tasks which need to be done. It is your responsibility to control if the machines are working properly and also you check if the tools are in their place. If you see any problems or breakdowns you report them to your supervisor and also you try to solve them. Besides this, you repair or protect the elements of columns and racks. You always keep the workshop and spare parts area neat and clean. If needed you will support production; here you check if the quality of plastic of the baggers is in the norm.
For all of your tasks you will be trained.
You work in two different shifts. Either in the morning shift from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m or in the afternoon shift from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

SIMEI Diensten is a supplier of Inditex. Inditex is the parent company of Zara, Massimo Dutti and Pull & Bear, among others. Inditex has set up a large worldwide distribution center in Lelystad and SIMEI services will provide its service to Inditex for this. This includes an ironing center. After arrival in Lelystad, the clothing is checked and ironed in the specially built ironing center. It has an area of 2,500 square meters and will accommodate approximately 100 employees.
