to be leading the team designing Rabobank’s Credit Analytics Strategy and future model landscape, helping risk and the business create a more efficient landscape supporting the customer journey. The Team Lead Credit Model Strategy will be involved with Senior Management and Model Owners across all Rabobank portfolios and geographies, in proposing solutions for the banks short and longer term model strategy. The Team Lead will lead a team of 4 Credit Model Strategists and maintain and propose changes to the Rabobank credit model landscape in terms of models, model uses, timelines, interpreting regulation and communication with supervisors. Our new colleague will understand Rabobank’s strategic priorities from business and risk, liaise with many stakeholders, report model strategy changes to Management Board, and lead the team of dedicated professionals.

As a Team Lead in Strategy you:
Lead the team of dedicated professionals in Risk Analytics’s Credit Model Strategy team
Communicate and liaise with many stakeholders across the bank Business, Risk and Finance, as well as external (ECB/JST)
Help propose the optimal credit model landscape, matching the team’s proposal with the latest regulation and the bank’s requirements;
Help coordinate the bank’s efforts surrounding the credit models, reporting to auditor and regulators;
Report to senior management on the status of models;

The Risk Analytics departments consists of highly skilled risk managers and modellers working closely with the business and other departments to support the bank’s general strategic goals, the customer experience path, sustainability and development.
The Model Strategy team is part of Rabobank’s Risk Analytics CSMU department, in which people work over 10 different nationalities. As a Team Lead you will work with the three lines of responsibility of business, risk and audit in helping Rabobank achieve its objectives. You will use your experience to lead and coach your team members in the Model Strategy domain, combining your people management skills and strategic views in a very international environment.

The work you do will impact your team and your internal and external stakeholders, but also the client servicing process and therefore the bank’s core business. It is important for our new colleague to be able to adapt to the needs of different audiences, explaining complex issues in a simple(r) manner.
In addition, it's important that you recognize everything in the checklist below:
A Master or PhD degree in Economics, Finance, or quantitative field (mathematics, physics or similar);
At least 8 years of experience in banking and credit models;
Leadership and people management experience;
Knowledge of credit model regulations;
Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written;
Good understanding of banking;
The ability to present solutions in a simple manner adapted to all types of audiences, but mostly senior management;
Experience working at a strategic Consulting firm is considered a plus.

A gross annual salary between € 5.220,- and € 7.400,-, according to seniority;
A thirteenth month and holiday pay;

A compensation for your commute if you travel by public transport or car;
