Internship: Business Performance Management MR

Job Description

Start day: May

Duration: at least 6 months

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Make an impact by improving the Global Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Business Development performance management.

Currently, there is already a wealth of leading and lagging commercial indicators (like funnel health, orders on hand, order intake and sales) available and being used. There is a desire to do an assessment of the way how we currently keep track of our performance management and can timely take action if we observe a negative trend with leading indicators.

You are responsible for

  • Support the preparation of recurring performance management reviews (analysis and reporting)
  • Support in problem solving deep dives with more in-depth analysis
  • Conduct an assessment to the current way of doing performance management, come up with a concrete proposal for improvements and drive the implementation of these improvements
  • Explore ways on how we can help our international sales teams with more actionable commercial insights

You are a part of

You will be part of the global Business Development (BD) team at Philips MRI. The BD team consists of a set of highly motivated professionals eager to strive for the better. The Business MRI is part of the business cluster Precision Diagnosis (PD). You will be closely working with colleagues across sales, marketing, finance, pricing and clinical applications.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Pursuing your master’s degree in Data Science, Finance, Economics, Econometrics, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Personal desire to improve the status quo and ability to find ways to do so practically
  • Ability to show understanding of sales dynamics and ways to positively influence
  • Ability to independently work and collaborate across functions, cultures, time-zones
  • Prior professional experience with internship(s), part-time job(s) and/or study related activities
  • Extensive experience on MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Advantage to have the ability to do (basic) programming or dashboarding (i.e. Power BI, QlikView)
