For an international Tax Knowledge Centre in Amsterdam we're looking for an internal Communications Officer. You will play a key role in executing the internal communications strategy in close collaboration with the Communications Manager.
The core business of the Internal Communications Department is to keep the employees informed and engaged. The scope of activities varies from producing and delivering daily messages to project communication in cooperation with other departments. Both facilitating a two-way dialogue and developing employee's communication skills. Internal company events are also initiated to strengthen the solidarity in the organisation.

The Internal Communications Department is a new department and will develop and grow its activities in the coming years. We are looking for a person who likes to be part of a growing team that is constantly trying to improve and innovate. Someone with a strong but flexible personality who is quality and result driven and is not afraid to challenge the way of working.

Main responsibilities:

  • Write and produce daily messages/newsletters;
  • Organise and host internal events;
  • Enable successful delivery on the implementation of various communication projects;
  • Develop publications and presentations for internal use and ensure quality and accuracy of all deliverables during preparation;
  • Provide day-to-day support on the communications deliverables/projects and partner with your manager on all internal comms fields;
  • Support the development and implementation of a new Sharepoint/Intranet environment;
  • Help develop and provide advice and guidance to staff on the use of internal branding and identity;
  • Work closely together with other teams to align, implement and improve communication practices.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent, with at least five years of experience in communications within an international environment;
  • Excellent written communication in Dutch and English - both verbal and in writing is a must;
  • Up to date knowledge of the latest communication tools & channels.
