At our Bakken Research Center in Maastricht, about 400 clinical researchers, scientists and technical engineers cooperate closely with medical specialists in and outside of Europe to develop new and improve existing therapies in Cardiac Rhythm Disease Management and Cadiovascular Surgery.

A Day in the Life
As a member of the Europe Middle-East and Africa (EMEA) Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) Study Support and Portfolio Management team, the Project Coordinator is responsible for clinical project and program management support across the clinical study portfolio.
Some of the key responsibilities include providing study management administrative and system support to clinical studies across EMEA, ensuring proper shipment (approval) of (investigational) products, maintaining adherence to regulatory requirements, and identifying improvement opportunities for current processes. You will be responsible for supporting the day to day clinical study management internally by providing support to the EMEA responsible Study Manager and our Medtronic EMEA Field Representatives, aswel as supporting hospitals participating in our clinical trials.
Main job tasks and responsibilities are:
Provide clinical project or program support to a functional group or business process.
Monitor program/project/system status and timetables.
Apply knowledge of and experience in company operations to assist in the development, implementation and administration of program/system guidelines and procedures.
Gather and compile information for reports.
Provide technical support, which may include program/system training, program/system documentation, data extraction, data review, tracking and coding
Support quarterly program metrics (such as: database enrollment, publication updates, etc.).
Support the management of device allocation, distribution and reconciliation;
Comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and study management process for guidance on everyday study tasks;
