For our Field Clinical Organization at the Medtronic Bakken Research Center in Maastricht, the Netherlands we are hiring Field Clinical Specialist | Office - based.

A Day in the Life

We offer you a diverse position in which you, as a team member of an international team, will actively manage data quality within defined geographical boundaries for the Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) trials.

You will be responsible for developing and customizing reports and communications, providing remote or in-person support and training to hospital personnel, field staff and the monitoring group in terms of data clarification, data quality and query resolution, ensuring the highest data quality for our clinical studies.

You will advise study teams in trial set-up and data collection and use your knowledge of the data collection systems and requirements for each study to develop individualized creative solutions for issues hospital personnel might encounter during a trial.

Do you have what it takes:

• Master’s degree, preference in IT, clinical or biomedical sciences (or bachelor’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience in Clinical Research)
• Strong networking skills
• High learning agility
• Working knowledge of medical terminology
• Expertise in MS Office Suite
• High degree of initiative and self-motivation
• Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems through analytical reasoning
• Preferred experience in Oracle Clinical, adhoc data reporting, metrics reporting, and reporting tools (e.g. TOAD, Business Objects, Spotfire).

• You are a good communicator with a strong intercultural sensitivity and fluent in English and an additional language (e.g., French, German, Swedish), both in writing and speaking.
• Some international travel is part of the job - (<15%).
