Technical Sales Specialist (Rotterdam, NL)

 

JIREH Industries designs and manufactures manual and motorized scanners to assist with non-destructive testing in the oil & gas, power generation, and aerospace industries. Based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, JIREH has recently opened a dedicated sales office in Houston, Texas, USA. We are now looking to expand our team and continue to provide industry-leading support for our products in the European market with a sales office located in Rotterdam, NL.

 

Description:

Our organization is seeking an individual with a variety of sales and customer service/support expertise. The Technical Sales Specialist will work closely with the Sales Team (based in Canada/USA) to ensure efficient daily operations, including, but not limited to: arranging customer visits and presentations, providing quotations to customers, processing orders, fulfilling orders, inspecting incoming and outgoing demo equipment, assisting customers via email, phone, and in-person. The focus of this position will be on our Scanning Products for NDT. Proficiency with computer systems and programs is required. The Technical Specialist will be responsible for keeping track of, and following up on sales opportunities, and working with the Sales team to provide great customer service. The Technical Sales Specialist will receive training at JIREH's facility.

 

Sales/Service Responsibilities:

  • Product line focus: NDT products

  • Manage prospects/leads in JIREH’s CRM system

  • Create opportunities

  • Create quotations

  • Provide quotation and ordering assistance to customers via email, phone and in person

  • Interact with customers to provide them with sales and quotation follow-up via email, phone and in person visits

  • Work closely with engineering team at JIREH Canada to answer customer’s technical questions

  • Fulfillment of customer orders (when shipping from JIREH Europe)

  • Assist with shipment of customer orders

  • Manage and maintain fleet of Demo equipment

  • Arrange for customer demos and provide loaner equipment in support situations

 

Requirements:

  • 2 to 3 years of sales administration, answering phone, quoting, billing and etc.

  • Advanced NDT-related experience an asset

  • Flexbility for short-term travel (customer visits, tradeshows, etc.)
