As Head ofTreasuryyou will have the following key responsibilities
Treasury Operations.Responsible for Global Treasury Operations. Managing FX (incl. hedging), transaction banking, cash pooling, cash management and efficient funding of group companies globally, considering treasury,pensionsand tax structures. Minimize interest costs after tax and contribute towards delivery of cash flow and EPS, whilst managing treasury risks including compliance with local laws and regulations.
Capital Structure & Banking Relations (potentially also Rating Agency relations): Ensure that capital structure and 3rd party funding arrangements (short and long term) are suited to the current and future needs of the business. Secure thatTeaCohas the financial flexibility to reliably meet all its day to day and strategic funding needs in a timely,efficientand economic manner. Define and maintain the banking framework policy throughoutTeaCo. Ensure that global banking relationship arrangements are suited to the current and future needs of the business. Potentially maintain relationships with rating agencies.
Your Key Tasks:
Treasury Infrastructure Set-up: Develop Treasury infrastructure building blocks: Governance, Policies,Hedgingstrategy, cash-pooling structure, new bank accounts set-up, new entities KYC and on-boarding, set-up regulatory and compliance set-up, including regulatory reporting, set-up Treasury related service contracts.
Holistic Risk Management: Continuously develop and maintain Treasury & Insurance standards and guidelines to secureTeaCo’sfinancial assets. Manage, within acceptable risk parameters, the impact of foreign exchange and interest rate volatility –both for P&L and Balance Sheet. Provide Insurance and Hazard Risk Control expertise to the entire organization.
Treasury Operations: Responsible for running daily Treasury Operations smoothly and flawlessly – cash management (funding and investments), FX transactions as well as transaction banking.
Establish cash forecasting process withinTeaCo: Develop cash flow reporting framework,implement,and run this as perTeaCotreasury and overall business needs.
Financial Flexibility: Ensure subsidiaries always have the right financing structures (cash,debt,and equity). Set up internal financing infrastructure. Optimize the use of cash through globally available cash management structures. Work closely with Tax, Legal and country teams to deliver optimal interest costs after tax. Gate keeper on working capital initiatives.
External Funding: Cash management / Liquidity. Ensure short- and long-term availability of funding ofTeaCoat the cheapest cost.
Preferred Banking Framework & Counterparty Exposure to Banks: Maintain the banking framework policy throughoutTeaCo. Monitor the performance of relationship banks and the income they earn. Determine suitable counterparty limits for relation banks. Monitor counterparty exposures against agreed limits.
Bank Documentation and Agreements: Maintain and update agreements with preferred banks relating to ISDA’s, Credit Support Annex and Issuing and Paying Agency agreements. Define & maintain standard facilities documentation at global and country level.
Systems landscape: Own the Treasury related IT environment and design the future systems landscape, including Treasury Management System and related solutions
Lead and manage the insurance and risk control function: Lead the negotiations for the terms and conditions forTeaCo’sGlobal Insurance Programs and Supporting Facilities and manage the ongoing relationship with each to ensure delivery of services. -Assess / analyze risk and exposure for risks currently insured and those that might become insured. Formulate distinct guidelines, make recommendations and suggestions as to how best to protect / reduce the exposures and implement changes.
Key Interfaces and relevant stakeholders for this role:
Leads a global team of 2 direct reports (overall team size 3)
Strong interface with CFO, Head of Tax, Head of Legal as well as Finance Heads of Management Units to ensure appropriate liquidity as well as management of financial risks

Geographical scope: global
Masteror bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance / Economics / Business Administration
Extensive Finance related experience (10+ years)
Proventrack recordin Corporate Treasury
Proventrack recordof management/leadership roles
Fluent in English, both verbal and written
Experience in working in an international organization
Experience with financial markets instruments and operations
Experience with cash management techniques (like cash pooling, sweeping etc.)
Understanding of payments and collection solutions
Understanding of macro-economic developments and the impact on financial markets
Understanding of Treasury IT landscape developments
Good analytical ability, strong risk identification and quantification skills. The qualified candidate must be able to independently evaluate property, business interruption, and potentially liability risks and qualitatively describe those risks in a detailed risk analysis report.
Effective problem solving and decision making, balancing drive for results with attention to detail. Candidate needs to be able to dissect complex problems, focus on keyobjectivesand develop clear recommendations.
Good understanding of legal concepts of indemnity and liability as well as sound commercial judgement.
Independent self-starter, mustdemonstratehigh levelof initiative and accountability
Supervisory & Leadership Skills - Proven leadership skills for high profile department
Experience in setting up Treasury from scratch / separating / carving out is a plus
Experience in Treasury in Emerging Markets is a plus
Experience in setting up a Treasury Management System is a plus
