What you’ll do

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Content Strategy Lead who is skilled in marrying content strategy with world class execution, distribution and measurement. You will create and manage the implementation of the Catawiki Content Strategy, informed by our brand strategy, consumer insights, market trends and business needs.

You will apply a senior level understanding of channel best practices across social media, editorial, CRM, SEO and performance media. You possess the ability to understand how everything is connected and works together across audiences, digital ecosystems and user experiences - delivering measurable business impact on our paid and owned channels.

The successful candidate will work with our social and content marketers, establishing frameworks and processes to ensure content is delivered to the highest standard, is on brand, and is leveraged and distributed to its full potential to influence customer actions. As a senior leader within the brand and marketing team, you influence and inspire others through your positive attitude, high standards, collaborative approach and exceptional project management skills. The Senior Content Strategy Lead will report to the Head of Brand.

What you’ll bring
  • 6+ years of social or content management experience, developing and executing content strategies in the EMEA region.
  • A senior-level understanding of creating, promoting, and distributing shareable content across multiple platforms.
  • Expert at matching content and its delivery mechanisms with the priorities and goals of the business, in one comprehensive plan.
  • You know the best tools and tactics for getting the right messages to the right audience, on the right channels - with flawless execution.
  • You have your finger on the pulse of the changing content and media landscape in order to drive innovation and creativity across the marketing team and broader organisation.
  • You consistently drive channel and content best practices while embracing new and innovative approaches to content across paid and owned channels.
  • An affinity for using data to inform creative strategies and briefs
  • Provide content performance analysis, communicate and implement timely optimisations to drive results.
  • Professional relationship management skills and experience managing creative, social and media agency partners.
  • An energetic team player with a strong track record of cross-functional partnership, and the ability to lead and influence your team and peers.
  • Superb writing, communication and organisational skills.

Plus points for:

  • Creative, Digital or Social agency experience
  • Experience influencing the content strategy in a marketplace or tech environment
  • Global or multi-country working experience
  • Excellent English communication is required, additional European or Asian languages are a plus as this role will partner with local and regional partners
  • Affinity with one or more Catawiki categories
