The customer operations specialist is active within the customer operations department and is responsible for keeping the commercial affiliates informed on their demand and inventory levels. The customer operations specialist is driving creative solutions for all supply and non-supply chain related exceptions. Coordinating between all relevant parties to solve the challenges and continuously looking for improvement opportunities for all supply chain related processes within the supply chain organization and at the commercial affiliates. The Customer Operations Specialist is responsibility to translate commercial strategies and priorities within Supply Chain to drive effective decision making.
On daily basis the customer operations specialist interacts with affiliates/area (logistics, demand and product managers) and with master scheduling, supply chain planner, distribution, QA and finance and any other department that is required to provide the highest level of customer service.

Education - Bachelor’s Degree:
Supply Chain Management or,
Production Operations Management or,
Strong communication and teamwork skills are required to facilitate good working relationships with supply chain partners.
Good analytical skills are scheduling, inventory management, and KPI analysis.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English are required to facilitate information flow across internal and external supply chain partners.
Strong Negotiation and conflict resolution skills are required to ensure timely and effective solutions to scheduling and inventory management issues internal and external customers.
Innovative skills and initiative are required to identify and implement business process improvements.
Excellent organizational and follow-up skills are critical to ensure timely delivery of product and communication with the supply chain partners.
Good understanding of DRP planning systems and business applications is vital. (SAP)
