Sales Representative Cardiac Surgery the Netherlands (Dutch speaking)

To support our Cardiac Surgery Business in The Netherlands we are currently looking for a fulltime customer-oriented field Sales Representative with excellent communication skills and natural ability to spot business opportunities. This is a great challenge for a person a with few years commercial experience in a medical device or pharmaceutical company and having the entrepreneurial mindset. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering sales results and drive development in a competitive market.

A Day in the Life
In this exciting and challenging position as a Sales Representative you will be driving the sales of the Heart Surgical Therapies (HST) product portfolio in the assigned territory. Your main customers will be Cardiac Surgeons, other relevant healthcare professionals and purchasers.
Your portfolio will include:•Surgical Heart Valves and Repair Products •Surgical Cardiac Ablation devices to treat AF (Atrial Fibrillation)•Products allowing Beating Heart CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting)•Minimal Invasive Cardiac Surgery Products
We offer you a position where you present and sell HST products and services to current and potential clients. This full-time Field Sales Representative position is responsible for meeting or exceeding established targets. We expect you to be able to learn and comprehend complex medical and scientific information, achieve daily sales call activities and client deliverables by gaining access to decision makers and influencing product usage. We are looking for a hands-on individual with a commercial mindset, an enthusiastic team player with high integrity standards. To be successful in this role very strong interpersonal and communication skills are required. You have proven to be results and quality oriented, sincere, innovative and continuously learning. You can communicate persuasively, demonstrate product knowledge, display knowledge of key customers.In this role you contribute to building strong relationships and customer loyalty.
Your responsibilities will include:•Achieving revenue and profit targets within assigned region and product scope•Identifying, mapping and building relationship with all key decision makers and influencers, in particular chief of Cardiac Surgery department.•Identifying and develop account potentials, account segmentation planning, documentation in APDR•Developing account sales strategy and planning according account segmentation concept with long-, medium- and short-term perspective•Identifying and facilitating market development opportunities and encouraging collaborations on specific projects•Preparing sales proposals and quotations•Negotiating contract and terms, closing deals, contract follow up vs. targets•Maintaining compliance to business processes, including UBD management, cycle count management, expenses etc.•Orchestrating execution of plan

Building strong and lasting business relationships is another important task. Just as identifying and preparing upcoming tenders, market trends and competitor’s information.

Must Haves
•Bachelor or master’s degree •Minimal 3 years’ experience in sales in medical devices, healthcare or pharma industry•General product and therapy knowledge; authority to negotiate the complete Cardiac Surgery portfolio•Solid sales experience in selling solutions to hospitals where multiple stakeholders are involved•High relationship building skills on department chief level•Target oriented, with successful sales experience, preferably in the medical device industry•Highly committed to customers’ satisfaction and long-term relationship development•Culturally aware of company strategy and able to enthuse customers about its products and solution•Knowledge and knowing how to deal with DMU's (Decision Making Units) and different stakeholders in the hospital•Fluent Dutch and English on a conversational level is required •Strong sales process management skills•Team player•Ability to attend and support clinical procedures in the operating room•Working independently, commitment and accountability for implementation

Nice to Haves
•Medical Device selling experience in hospital environment and operating room•Digital skills•Ability to teach and educate medical personnel
