Senior Specialist, Global Communications Content

The Team

The Tommy Hilfiger Marketing & Communications department has 3 key objectives:

  • Drive traffic and conversion @ full price
  • Consistently bring the brand to life in the markets
  • Be a pro-active business partner

Its scope includes setting strategies, giving direction and servicing the business of its ‘clients’: Divisions, Countries, Departments, Licensing Partners and Senior Management. It is the point of liaison between client needs, the brand and the final consumer.

Communications is responsible for Global Corporate and Associate Communications, Global Communications & Earned Media, Experiential Marketing, and Influencer Marketing.

The Position

The Senior Specialist, Global Communications Content is responsible for supporting the development and execution of the day-to-day content strategy across Associate Communications (internal), Corporate Communications (external) and Employer Branding. This is achieved through creative content development, production and activation to deliver consistent messaging and visual identity across platforms and channels that inspires and engages business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Associate Communications:

  • Content Production
    • Map 360 communications plans to ensure optimal and impactful distribution of content to relevant target audiences
    • Develop briefs in partnerships with business partners, and manage (pre & post) production of content (copy, photos, videos) to engage associates through company-wide channels (intranet, internal apps and events)
    • Lead content production flow end-to-end, including agency, copywriters, production and talent to deliver on-time, in line with brief and on budget

Employer Branding:

  • Content Production
    • In partnership with relevant business partners, develop briefs and manage (pre & post) production of content (copy, photos, videos) to engage associates through company-wide channels (intranet, internal apps and events)
    • Lead content production flow end-to-end, including agency, copywriters, production and talent to deliver on-time, in line with brief and on budget

Strategy:

  • Activate Employer brand internally by supporting internal activations of the employee value proposition for Tommy Hilfiger and PVH Europe
  • Build and activate a 360 internal communications plans to ensure optimal and impactful distribution of content to relevant target audiences using optimal channels

Photo/Video Content Production:

  • Support development of photo/video briefs in line with strategic requirements for key Corporate, Executive and PR moments
  • Manage photo and video teams ensuring briefs and production flow are executed

TH LinkedIn Platform:

  • Manage editorial calendar and produce content for TH LinkedIn platform, in line with the implemented strategy and syndicate to internal channels where relevant
  • Collaborate with external agencies on strategy and how to further evolve approach to elevate reach and impact

Messaging:

  • Understand specific target audience and objectives for each production, and ensure content aligns to associate communications goals and culture, through a globally consistent and powerful brand voice, style and quality
  • Advise on messaging based on department/division and business priorities

Budget:

  • Budget management, including quotes, raising POs, collecting and submitting invoices, and working with Finance to resolve any invoicing issues

The Ideal Candidate

  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in relevant functions (fashion industry a plus)
  • University or similar degree in marketing or communications
  • Excellent (native) spoken and written communications skills
  • Highly organized and structured individual with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Ability to develop working relationships across the organization that is needed to complete key tasks and projects
  • Flexible; no 9-5 mentality
  • Pro-active and hands-on; open minded and resourceful
  • Team player
