For J&J Vision in The Netherlands, we are recruiting a Key Account Manager Cataract
covering the region of South Netherlands.
In this role you are responsible for crafting a business plan to achieve objectives through sales and servicing of multiple physician and healthcare professional accounts in a prescribed territory.
You schedule appointments and you make preplanned sales presentations to customers. Initiates contact and schedules appointments with potential new customers. Makes regular visits to customer locations to collect information on orders and market conditions. You identify customer needs and recommends new products to address them. Conducts competitive research to aid in the development of customer and product focused presentation packages for sales. Prepares sales reports and documents as the need arises. Reviews and analyzes customer orders and product sales and establishes an improvement plan for those that are not on target. Follows up with customers to resolve any issues and ensure customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with other departments to ensure a timely resolution and provides input to sales forecast and submits to management. Relays relevant market information to management. Identifies potential impacts to business. Creates proposals for expansion of customer base. Main responsibilities:
- Drive sales and share performance through realizing opportunities within the local healthcare environment in predefined district
- Act and influence on strategic and board level (e.g. Financial Directors, Heads of, top-level ophthalmologists, key doctors, etc.)
- Play an active and coordinating part within infield team and identify opportunities to work collaboratively with cross-functional colleagues to deliver on brand objectives
- Draw business cases at targeted key accounts (reflecting a significant part of the market)
- Partner-up with key customers to consult, advise and influence in business development
- Market Intelligence Reporting
Min. Bachelor degree, Master degree preferred
Preferably education in Ophthalmology and on-the-job business exposure
Minimum 7 years' of Ophthalmic sales experience
Established know-how in ophthalmic business
Specialist on local reimbursement regulations and inherent business potentials
Ability to translate the strategies into meaningful and realistic engagement plans to ensure market access of JJSV products, in alignment with brand strategies
Excellent selling skills and effective in sales analysis and corresponding strategic sales approaches.
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Proficient in Dutch and in English
