The Tax Reporting Specialist is a member of the Finance Tax team. This department is responsible for performing (tax) compliance, administration and reporting functions for the legal entities in over 20 countries belonging to the Foot Locker Europe Group. The Tax Reporting Specialist is responsible for the execution of Intrastat and Other Taxes compliance & reporting, payments & forecasting, accounting & reconciliation.

  • Ensure timely and accurate Intrastat reporting
  • Reconcile the Intrastat reporting with the FL VAT reporting
  • Liaise with the VAT Department on the reconciliation process
  • Other Taxes compliance and payment
  • Ensure timely and accurate Withholding tax compliance and payment
  • Support the Other Taxes department with Tax audits
  • Prepare, document, the Other Taxes Month End accounting entries
  • Ensure timely and accurate Statistics reporting
  • Prepare account reconciliations for Withholding Taxes, Plastic bags taxes and Other Taxes
  • Provide Other Taxes cash flow information
  • Support the FL Statutory / Tax functions
  • Support on the expansion of the business
  • Sarbanes Oxley compliance for areas responsible
  • Graduate Degree or equivalent in Finance / Accounting
  • More than 4+ years’ experience in an international tax department
  • Experience US owned Company is a plus
  • Fluent in English. Other EU language is a plus
  • Strong accounting skills
  • Strong excel skills
  • Understand variances between US and Local Gaap (tax) accounting.
  • Potential to grow within the Finance Department
