Body Repair Claims Specialist

The Role

Tesla is looking for a Body Repair Claims Specialistto work on one of the most progressive vehicle brands in the world. This position will involve supporting the Body Repair Business in all aspects including the sales, service and delivery organization. This position is located in Tilburg.   • Advocate on behalf of Tesla customers to expedite automotive body repair to return the car to its originally engineered state of safety, performance and aesthetics in the easiest and most economical manner

  • Direct interaction with the insurance carriers and third-party Tesla Approved Body Shops.

  • Interacts with the sites to obtain and maintain complete records for all claims and first notice of loss

  • Insures claims progression and ensures an expedited repair process

  • Supports internal customers with identifying opportunities to reduce claim costs by monitoring and reviewing estimates as well for internal as external repairs

  • Perform random claims audits with the third-party Tesla Approved Body Shops

  • Work closely with the Body Repair Program Support Specialists to ensure the highest standard of customer service

  • Work with the Technical Support team & the Parts organization to ensure the highest standard of customer service

  • Develops improved processes and interacts with engineering departments to mitigate frequently occurring claims

  • Identify EPC system improvements to ensure operational efficiency

  • Identify opportunities for operational efficiency. This includes standardizing processes/procedures, improve resource management, and developing operational Key Performance Indicators and reporting

  • Perform root cause analysis on claims delays

  • Ability and willingness to perform as a team member on multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment with high expectations for quality.

  • Attend team meetings to present overview of network within your region

  • Performs other related duties as assigned


  • 5+ years of insurance auto appraisal experience.

  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

  • Proven ability to provide excellent customer service, and work with multiple levels of the organization from senior management to external contractors.

  • Superior communication skills, written and oral in English is required.

  • Any fluent knowledge of other European languages; like German, French or Spanish are a pre.

  • Superior writing, editing and proofreading skills; attention to detail.

  • Audatex certificate

  • Superior computer skills and ability to work with MS Office: Visio, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.

  • Self-starter with the ability to work under minimal guidance and direction.

  • Demonstrated negotiation tactics and ability to influence others at all organizational levels.

  • Strong strategic planning, organizational and change management skills.

  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work, including the public.
