In case the big news haven't reached you yet, the two big players in the food delivery business Just Eat and are merging and therewith forming the worldwide biggest food delivery business (outside of China). Just Eat and have ambitious goals and only with the best colleagues on board we can play in the top league of the food-delivery market.

Due to the developments, we are looking for a Senior Recruiter in Paris who comfortable maneuvers through reaching ambitious targets, setting up structures, coordinating less experienced colleagues and finding new recruitment solutions.

Your Job

Based in the Just Eat Takeaway office in Paris, you take the ownership for vacancies from various levels and departments and build teams across France and beyond. From opening a position until offering the job to the successful candidate, the entire recruitment cycle lies in your hands. You build the connection between the office in Paris and the HQ in Amsterdam and act as a strong coordinator in dynamic times and trusted business partner to the Hiring Managers.

Your responsibilities:

  • Bring recruitment processes and structures into place as our first (Senior) Recruiter in France
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle: source, screen and guide candidates through the interview process and inform them about their offers or rejections
  • Choose the right tools, channels and providers to work with in your market and work closely with your colleagues from employer brand
  • Continuously improve recruitment processes
  • Find and engage passive candidates (you'll get a LinkedIn Recruiter seat)
  • Collaborate with hiring managers in France and abroad to align with their department recruiting objectives
  • Liaise with your colleagues from the HR team to align on staffing plans and processes
  • Collaborate with others in the international Recruitment team on initiatives that have an impact on your region, but also globally (e.g. participating in employer branding activities)
Your Profile

You are a go-getter! In times of fast growth, undefined procedures and high recruitment targets, you get energy from getting things done regardless. You are down-to-earth, internationally minded and well organized. Besides, you have...

  • Experience of 5-8 years in recruitment
  • At least 2 years of experience as an in-house Recruiter, preferably in a fast-moving company
  • University degree or level of thinking
  • Experience in recruiting for positions in the commercial or operational field
  • Knowledge of recruiting and people-related tools and systems, including applicant tracking systems, resume databases and internet sourcing tools (esp. LinkedIn) and recruitment platforms
  • Fluency in English (the company's language) & native level of French
