The Role

The Tesla Assurance & Advisory Team’s mission is to protect the company by calling attention to critical risks and driving management action to address those risks. Internal projects are driven by two guiding principles – Keep Tesla Safe and Enable Operational Excellence. The Team achieves its objective by collaborating with functional and business/product groups to identify areas of risk, making valuable recommendations on process and control improvements, cost reduction, and operational excellence.

Tesla is seeking a team member with relevant operational curiosity and experience to support the growth across all countries in the EMEA region. This position will be reporting to EMEA – Program Manager and will be responsible for utilizing a risk-based approach to plan, scope, and execute both short-term and complex audit and advisory projects across the organization’s business and technical processes. This is a high visibility role where you will be interacting with all levels of personnel.

The successful candidate, who should be able to demonstrate a “can do” attitude and “go getter” personality.

Responsibilities:

·Independently evaluate, plan, execute, and report on assigned projects with a focus on “what could go wrong”.

·Serve as a consultant across various functions by leveraging data analysis techniques to provide management with facts, figures and analysis that outline solutions and drive risk reduction, process improvement and cost reduction.

·Build relationship across all levels.

·Perform Sarbanes Oxley 404 compliance testing and assist in assessment of internal controls over financial reporting.

Requirements:

·Degree in Accounting/Finance/Engineering. Master’s or MBA is a plus.

·6-8 years of experience in Big 4 or Management Consulting firm or a blend of related experiences.

·Ability to navigate through ambiguity with minimal guidance, coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and tight deadline driven environment.

·Intensely curious individual who starts with “why” and finish with actionable recommendations including practical and scalable solutions to support a rapidly growing organization.

·Excellent English communication skills - written and verbal. German is a plus.

·Evidence of exceptional abilities demonstrated through career progression or life experiences.

·Analytics skills, proficient in Excel (experience in other analytical tools will be a plus). Ability to translate analysis into recommendations.

·Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

·Industry experience in automotive, manufacturing, technology or similar is a plus.

·Open to travel as needed, sometimes on short notices, within the EMEA region.
