Associate Program Manager, Global EHS Learning and Development


Reporting to the Senior Program Manager, Global EHS Learning and Development the Associate Program Manager, Global EHS Learning and Development is responsible for the coordination, creation and delivery documentation of training programs for EHS related topics. Designed with leadership, management, business and personal progression and best practice in mind, the intention is to expand on the talents and skills across all employees at all levels within an organization.

Knowledge of the company, its clients and business strategy are all key, as these will be taken into consideration when establishing training and performance programs for the various global business units.

The role of the Program Manager, Global EHS Learning and Development is to fundamentally assist in the organization’s success through training, coaching and developing its people.

Roles and Responsibilities:

As the Program Manager, Global EHS Learning and Development, your responsibilities will involve:

·Alignment with internal stakeholders and teams on training processes and expectations amongst the teams, collaboration on training projects/programs/rollouts etc.;​

  • Create and develop training programs that are aligned with the organization’s objectives and having a strong understanding of what these are;
  • Embracing different styles of training techniques, including e-learning, tutorial sessions or coaching;
  • Having an awareness of the allocated budget and an ability to find solutions in order to implement the required training;
  • Analyze EHS Training data, reports and recommend projects to drive improvement;
  • Work on improving training processes with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Act as coordinator within the business for anyone with questions or queries regarding EHS training and development plans.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in Designing and supplying a variety of training styles;
  • Experience in training delivery and instructional design;
  • Great technical experience working with Learning Management Systems;

·Ability to review critical training data and provide analysis and overviews/reports;

·Ability to work in a challenging and fast paced, collaborative environment;

·Ability to creatively problem-solve and develop short- and long-term learning goals;

·Demonstrated project management skills and ability to collaborate across departments, off-site teams, multi-task and prioritize;

·Well organized with meticulous attention to detail;

·Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

  • Building relationships with external and internal stakeholders

·Travel up to 20%
