Rewards Partner, Greater China


Responsibilities

• Partner with the Global Compensation and Benefits team, HR, and leadership teams to suggest changes, analyze performance and ensure equitable and consistent rewards that are aligned with Tesla’s global Total Rewards philosophy
• Use thorough understanding of compensation and benefit plan design and administrative procedures to drive constant improvement
• Continually evaluate current compensation and benefits practices to find better ways to get the job done, innovative ways to solve problems, and employ a scrappy/hands-on approach
• Stay current on all compensation and benefit regulations and ensure compliance with legal requirements and other regulations that may govern total reward plans
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to employees as needed to resolve questions, concerns or take feedback
• Assist in the implementation of new programs and changes to plans and/or administrative procedures
• Work together with Payroll, HR Business Partners and local brokers and consultants to manage the benefit programs from start to finish
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant administration of assigned programs
• Partner closely with the Staffing team to appropriately align pay with our competitive practice and philosophy

Requirements:
• 10+ years of Compensation and Benefits related experience
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Deep interest in analyzing data and the ability to see beyond the numbers to drive sound decision-making
• Working knowledge of Greater China regulations
• Ability to develop strong relationships with all levels of management
• Strong understanding of broad-based compensation programs (base pay/variable pay/equity), pay for performance, benchmarking/market data, job evaluation, etc.
• Experiences of managing retail sales incentive and China blue-collar compensation and benefits programs
• Possess high level of integrity. Be widely trusted, direct and truthful, with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and gain confidence
• Solutions and client service-oriented, with an emphasis on problem solving
• Workday experience a plus
