Business Change Manager HR Digital Experience

At Aegon’s Corporate Center headquarters in The Hague, approximately 300 people of different nationalities work closely together in departments that include Finance, Treasury, Risk Management, Legal, Compliance, Group Business Development, Investor Relations, HR and Communications.

HR Digital Experience

The Global HR Digital Experience team is responsible for delivering an HR environment (processes technology-data & insights) that enables Aegon employees and managers to deliver on the company’s strategic priorities, fill in people management and achieve personal growth. As reflected in the mission statement of the team: “Attract, retain and develop our people through analytics and technology”.

The team exists of about 25 people, both internals and externals, spread over three regions (North America, Europe and Asia). Employee Experience, Operational Excellence, Globalization and User Experience are key guiding principles within this space.

Business Change Manager

The Business Change Manager reports directly to the Global Head HR Digital Experience and will actively support Aegon’s Global HR Digital Experience by driving business change in the People Analytics and HR Technology area. You will be supporting in shaping, maintaining and executing the global HR Experience roadmap in close collaboration with the various reporting units, HR Technology Product Owner and People Analytics Lead. You are able to structure large amounts of information, identify common denominators, develop business cases, create and deliver compelling presentations and persuade people to jump on the bandwagon. Also, you are a motivator and enjoy being the leading person on projects.

You are experienced in pioneering and in driving continuous change. Strong organizational skills and communications skills are critical to this position, as is the ability to successfully adapt to diverse people and situations, proactively resolve issues and complete assignments on time.

What are you going to do

People Analytics

  • Employee Engagement and Continuous Listening

You will have a critical role as project manager to drive the execution of the continuous listening strategy and work with Reporting Units and Global Centers of Excellence to implement new and innovative methods. You will investigate what is required in terms of analytic insights (e.g. global engagement survey, pulse surveys & employee experience focus groups) to accelerate the overall people strategy execution.

  • Insights to Action

As Business Change Manager you play a critical role in transforming Aegon towards a culture of a more insights driven organization. Hence, an important part of your role will be to provide leadership with tangible data insights, while supporting them in making the insights actionable.

HR Technology

  • Workday Agile Transition

Aegon has positioned Workday as a strategic solution in the HR Technology space. The HR Technology Roadmap is created in close cooperation with our key stakeholders in the Business units and on corporate level. The roadmap will be executed in an agile manner, we are currently transitioning to an agile way of working.

You will be responsible for the business change component of the implementation of the HR technology roadmap aligned with the global transition to agile. You will work within scrum teams of HR Tech SMEs ,business SME and the HR Technology Product Owner, hereby driving sustainable behaviour change.

  • Expanding the HR Technology Footprint

In addition, you will also work on initiatives aimed at expanding the Technology footprint in the organization (e.g. Learning, Talent Acquisition) and global HR Technology solutions that go above and beyond (eg automation and robotics).

What you will bring

  • University degree in related field or equivalent work experience
  • Approximately 5 years of experience within an international corporate environment, preferably with a consultancy background focused on People, Change and Strategy
  • Affinity with the HR function and HR technology and/or Analytics
  • Strong project management and storytelling skills
  • Strong behaviour change, communication and stakeholder engagement/management skills
  • Capable of leading organizational change and transformation
  • Analytical and conceptual ability
  • Business acumen and capable of translating business g into digital solutions
  • Be detail-oriented, a quick thinker, meanwhile, not afraid of getting their hands dirty
  • Fluent in English.
