Whether it’s fries with friends or curry in a hurry, we’re taking millions of orders every week across 11 countries. Making mealtimes special for customers from Lisbon to Leipzig, we’ve come a long way from attic start-up to leading international brand.

But in a fast-paced, competitive industry it’s about more than just ensuring customers are happy with their deliveries. We need marketing initiatives that spice things up and help us stay on the minds of food-lovers everywhere. That’s where you come in.

All about the role:

Your main responsibility will be to develop, implement and execute the Global Influencer strategy, in line with the Takeaway.com brand direction to increase brand awareness & brand equity. You will also support the creation of Global PR strategies. You will report to the Global Brand PR Manager.

Influencer Marketing:

You will fully own Takeaway.com’s strategy of Influencer Marketing annual plans at the global level. You will lead execution of the global campaigns in Takeaway.com’s key markets and in order to do this you will be tasked to choose the right influencers, tools and other providers. Your expertise and data literacy mindset will be needed to provide reports, learnings and recommendations for ongoing activations. In order to succeed and build scale you will need to be able to build effective relationships with internal teams/stakeholders, be creative, agile and have a can-do mindset.

Brand PR:

You will be passionate about storytelling and creating high level PR narratives that will drive news. With an overarching strategy needed for major campaigns, your PR expertise will help guide the thinking and plans to overcome business challenges. You will overview the reporting and learnings from PR activations in partnership with Junior PR manager. Part of your responsibility will also be support for the Dutch press office.

Ready for the challenge? That’s great. Experience and skills we will be looking for:
  • 5+ years’ experience in PR and influencer marketing roles on a global & regional level, experience in PR in the Netherlands is prefered
  • Perfect English (written & spoken) and Dutch
  • Understanding of data and a results-oriented mindset
  • KPI experience in managing and using influencer platforms
  • Strong communication skills and natural team-player ethos
  • Ability to use customer insights to build a relevant story framework
  • Skills to develop a network of contacts in the influencer sphere
