Specialist Global Recruitment Operations

In order to do so, our Human Resources team has a People Vision - to build the craftsmanship and engagement of everyone at ING for them to deliver on the purpose and the strategy of our bank. We do this by creating greater leaders and better managers and by offering people services that create a differentiating employee experience.

In order to deliver the People Vision, our Human Resources team consists of three focus areas: People Services, Centres of Expertise and HR Business Partners. Recently, the three Human Resources areas embarked on a major Human Resources transformation program – HR unite - which aims to build an integrated Human Resources team with standardised processes, a single People Information System (Workday), solution building by globalized Centres of Expertise and a dedicated integrated People Services organisation. Whilst many milestones have been achieved so far, the program has entered its next phase and the vacancy for a Specialist Global Recruitment Operations has arisen to create a positive impact on the further implementation of the HR unite program.

As part of the Global People Services department, the Signature Services team aims to design and implement services improving the employee experience and performance of our bank.

What you'll do

The purpose of the Specialist Global Recruitment Operations role is to run the recruiting operations for ING at global level and support global support functions (e.g. Risk, Finance, HR) and be the Point of Contact (POC) for the Global HR community to liaise with the vendor or country recruiting team during the hiring process. Also responsible to act as POC for the Employee Experience & Innovation team in supporting the implementation of improved recruiting processes

The role reports to the Head of Signature Services. The role is based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

You will ensure that recruitment operations proceed smoothly and efficiently:

  • Formalizing and tracking all aspects of the recruiting process: from sourcing to nurture to application to interview, and finally to hire or rejection.
  • Ensuring that the vendor recruiting team operates in the most efficient way, mainly by setting up the right tools and removing unnecessary friction in everyday operations.
  • Drawing insights from recruiting data and sharing it with leadership for the needed visibility to make decisions and forecasts.

How to succeed

  • Skills: excellent spoken and written English language. Demonstrates operational efficiency by acting in concise manner with the candidate in mind.
  • Competences: people knowledge, stakeholder management, (data) analytic thinker, understands the social and personal implications of recruiting.
  • Work Experience: min. 7 years in Recruiting operations or Talent Acquisition. Proven track record of vendor management experience. Has worked on the provider side of a large recruiting company Knowledge of HR solutions and processes
  • Education: Bachelor degree from University or University of applied sciences.

Please note, multiple interview steps involving various business stakeholders will be part of the selection process.
