Your job

As part of the service package of IHC new build vessels, we provide high quality condition monitoring systems and services for vessels of our clients. The vessels are designed, engineered and built by IHC and we integrate online condition monitoring systems in these vessels. Furthermore we prepare and execute condition monitoring programs (including online and offline measurements) in support of the operations of our customers. As condition monitoring team we have early contact with the internal or external customer during the proposal phase, we prepare and execute the integration of the hardware devices onboard, we set up the databases, take measurements, perform analyses, report and advise our customers with regard to their (critical) equipment.

As Project Manager Condition Monitoring & Diagnostics (Project Manager CMD), you will be responsible for the project management and delivery of these systems, programs and services. From sales to project delivery, you will:

  • be involved in the sales process;
  • be in contact with the (internal or external) customer to determine and set the requirements;
  • specify and cost-calculate the condition monitoring systems programs;
  • during the project execution phase you will be responsible for the project controls: on specification (quality), on budget and in time delivery;
  • support the customer with the commissioning of the system, train the crews and provide support during the utilization phase of the system;
  • manage a number of projects simultaneously;
  • lead and manage a small team of condition monitoring engineers and external vendors.

Your profile

In order to qualify for the vacancy of Project Manager Condition Monitoring, you have the following profile:

  • a bachelor's or master's degree in maintenance, mechanical, marine engineering, IT or other relevant discipline;
  • capable to motivate and guide a team of specialists;
  • you have hands-on, problem solving skills;
  • you are service minded, pro-active, creative and have a flexible attitude;
  • you have good communication skills, both spoken and written in English;
  • you are able and willing to work in Kinderdijk (Rotterdam area) in The Netherlands and travel abroad on occasion;
  • only candidates with a EU work visa will be considered as candidate.
