Commercieel Nederland is recruiting , for our client Smart Photonics in Eindhoven to expand their marketing and sales activities, for an Inside Business Developer
SMART Photonics B.V. is an independent developer and manufacturer of photonic components based on indium phosphide (InP). The company started in 2012 and is based in Eindhoven. For the purpose of making these semiconductor components, SMART Photonics offers a new and unique technology. The company offers this technology as the first and only independent producer in the world. This technology will play a major role in enabling the future 5G network, the "Internet of Things", "Smart Mobility" and many other applications eg. aerospace, automotive and medical markets. Due to the unique business model of SMART Photonics in combination with the extensive knowledge of photonics the company is well positioned to play a successfull role. To meet future demand, they opened their first production line at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
Research and build new and existing accounts, identify key players and generate interest (i.e. adding contacts, sending mails;
Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and emails;
Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas;
Collaborate with the channel partners to build pipeline and close deals;
Maintain and enrich account information in client database;
Complete and maintain accurate sales forecasts, data gathering and reports;
Researches and develops content for publication of products;
Excecutes on online and offline marketing campaigns;
Supports channel partners in order for them to promote the organization in the required manner.
Knowledge, experience and skills:
BSc. degree or equivalent and looking forward to have an inside buisness development career within an international company;
Minimum 3-5 years of technical sales experience in a B2B environment;
International experience is an advantage;
Affinity with photonics and / or electronics is a plus;
Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English;
Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills at various levels;
Experience with CRM systems is a plus.
