This position is for 28 hours per week and could eventuate a fixed position with our partner. Our partner is an international organization in the offshore sector. For this position your English needs to be excellent. Job DescriptionAs Department Assistant you provide accurate and efficient administrative and secretarial support to one manager and a team of approximately twelve colleagues. You coordinate agendas, mailboxes and event planners, optimize the flow of internal and external communication and follow up on routine matters. You arrange appointments, (international) meetings, conference calls and other events. For some meetings you will be required to prepare presentations and/or take and process minutes. In addition, you organise business trips, taking care of travel, accommodation and other requirements – such as applications for travel visa and other necessary documentation. Furthermore, you set up and maintain a comprehensive filing system and perform specific responsibilities and tasks as assigned by the Managing Director. SkillsThe preferred candidate has an Intermediate Vocational Education/Bachelor degree and a couple of years’ experience in a similar position, preferably in an international company. You are able to prioritize, pro-active, committed and service oriented. Furthermore, you are dedicated to providing high-quality results and adapt well to evolving situations and circumstances and have demonstrated IT skills (MS Office). Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, both verbal and written, are essential for this position.
