The further development and - after approval - implement and maintain a Safety Management System fitting within the global policies, so that we always meet the requirements of governmental and other external agencies and the risks remain as small as possible to acceptable cost. Maintains and monitors the safety management system withinplant, to keep compliance with all external and internal requirements and to keep the workers safety performance at the desired level. Remain informed of all relevant developments in legislation and regulations in the field of safety and timely translate into investment proposals, procedures and methods, to achieve compliance with European and Dutch demands and to keep workers safety performance at the desired level remains. Supports and also implements policies to ensure that the client meets the Decree Major Accident (BRZO) requirements and proposes, in collaboration with various disciplines within the company, if appropriate, improvements, so that worker safety risks tothe client and the environment are kept to a minimum. Performs safety audits on a regular basis and Ri & E programs, analyzes the results and makes necessary suggestions for improvement, in order to mitigate worker safety risks. Coordinates the design and implementation of safety training programs in a manner that gives full achievement of the Corporate Safety program of our client. Coordinates to the control of the Safety Management System so that all worker safety related issues are addressed in a structured way in the organization are and remain anchored. Coordinates the timely preparation of procedures and instructions relating to OHSAS 18001, as well as the associated document control and supervision of auditors, so compliance is not compromised. Investigates, in case of accidents or emergencies, causes and reports, in consultation with stakeholders, recommendations for improvement, so that workers safety risks remain minimized in the future. Coordinated the obligations and commitments from government or internal rules, in the context of REACH and Self-Regulation on Dangerous Substances. Support projects on EHS aspects from design to completion.Develop and Maintain the EHS Safety Culture program by coordinating the Safety Imaging and safety alert program.Required Skills Bachelor+ degree working and thinking with thorough knowledge of Safety Science and Occupational Health and Safety Act legislation. Higher Safety Training (HVK) or equivalent.Knowledge of process engineering or chemistry.2-5 year’s experience in a similar role within the process or chemical industry.Strong communicator.Good analytical skills.Service oriented attitude.
