We are looking for a Customer Servicedesk Engineer with knowledge of computersystems and applications, mechatronics and who speaks different languages (English, German, French). Job description As Customer Service Desk Engineer, you are responsible for delivering optimal support to our customer base, taking into account Service Level Agreements and commercial importances. You have to manage incoming service calls by troubleshooting remotely, dispatching the issue to a Field Service Engineer or escalating it to 3rd or 4th line support. You have to process the corresponding information in the service management system in such a way that it is clear to all parties involved what the issue is, what actions have been taken and what the current status is. Core activities include:Processing service calls with customers and company associates according to SLAs and escalation processesManaging the customer’s Configuration Management DatabaseRunning remote Database Administration regarding the company systemsAdministrative handling by registering symptoms, research and the solution in the service management systemApplying extensive expertise in the product/platform, and being recognized internally and externally as subject matter expertInitiating and recommending product design change/improvement to satisfy service needsWorking in a fixed shift schedule is part of the job to guarantee a 24/5 service. Job requirementsMinimum Technical Bachelor degreeExperience at a (technical) HelpdeskExperience with computer systems and computer applications, PLCs and databasesAffinity with mechatronics and machine controlMastery of English and a second language, preferably French or GermanKnowledge of microbiological laboratories processes is an advantageCompetences: Analytical, (technical) problem solving skills, stress-resistant, quality awareness, customer focus, communication, planning and organizing own work and team orientation.
