Our client, an international organisation in Moerdijk, is currently looking for an experienced HR advisor.Job DescriptionThe HR Advisor will have responsibility for the HR partnership role supporting the staff functions in the Moerdijk Manufacturing site. This position will be expected to provide end to end HR services to all levels of leadership and employees within its area of responsibility.Responsibilities include:
Provide one point of contact for HR support to assist in the achievement of client's business goals and objectives providing strategic partnership with client at all levels.
Provide counsel to managers to proactively anticipate and address complex HR issues impacting the business.
Act as a day-to-day counterpart and advisor in local HR issues vis à vis line managers, employees and local staff representatives within assigned area.
Plan and coordinate internal and external recruitment, working together with the Recruitment Specialist in Rotterdam. This includes participating in interview process and ownership of offer process. Organize and implement internal moves.
Set up new hire employment agreements and administer all amendments and changes to those agreements.
Support staff planning, work on talent management and succession planning.
Execution and support of international individual measures according to international transfer guidelines (e.g. short term assignments, localizations, cross-border relocations) and support to national expat coordinator within expatriation assignments.
Partner with leaders in the development and implementation of organizational structure changes including identifying impact and assisting in the communication as needed.
Draft position descriptions and finalize with managers.
Champion all annual HR processes eg: PAD, calibration, STI, merit planning, etc.
Implement promotions for exempt and non-exempt staff.
Data administration in SAP and administration of personnel files, contributing to the improvement of quality and delivery of HR processes and data requests with zero defects.
Implementation of collective redundancies and social plans. Administration of individual dismissals arising from those measures. Make sure that internal and external bodies are involved as foreseen in the law (e.g. works council, state employment office, etc.)
Implementation and administration of disciplinary actions and individual improvement plans, exploring and implementing opportunities for dismissals for cause and poor performance.
Management and follow-up of sickness cases, including dealing with the Occupational Health services and coordinating with the relevant manager.
Administration of dismissals, resignations, mutual terminations and retirements.
Advise manager and individuals on, develop and administer demand-oriented working time solutions and release from work entitlements (e.g. parental leave, nursing leave, sabbaticals).
Close cooperation with staff representatives in all HR matters needing staff reps approval or discussion.
Participation in HR projects on local, national or international level, e.g. employee engagement, recognition tools, etc.
Focal point for HR audits for assigned departments.
Prepare and compile HR data for reports and statistics.
Our client requires minimum Qualifications/Experience:* The successful candidate will have solid HR
fundamentals and broad-based experience in HR, including employee relations in
the Netherlands and in-depth knowledge and understanding of Dutch employment
Fulltime availability;* Fluent in dutch and english. Skills/Abilities:

management, both locally and internationally;
to prioritize and to work in a matrix reporting structure, with direct
reporting into the Country HR Manager in the Netherlands and functional
reporting to HR management in the US;
